Inlaw Antics!

Evidently my inlaws heard your rave reviews of my rants about their behavior...

they were being SO good...

of course they were gone for 2 weeks...LOL!

Ok...are you ready for this?

Last night my FIL came up and I excitedly told him that we were adding a tiny chihuahua to our home after my vacation (more on that later)...

He said, "Now I just gave my dog away (the one that attacked and killed the girls' cat last month WHILE they were playing with it). No more dogs on the farm." He said this like a parent telling a child "No candy until after dinner."

Now Mr. FIL...don't make me pull rank on you...shall we look and see who's name is on the check that pays the farm mortgage each month? Hmmm?

Argh.

Ha Ha You are VERY patient!!

I have some very interesting in-laws myself. You wouldn't believe some of the things I have to endure over the years but alas I envy you - they all read my blog so I cannot post any of it!

I have fun reading yours though!! ha ha

I'm not sure I'd really call a chiuahiua a dog anyway, would you? More like a guinea pig on steroids, lol!

I would just evict them if I were you!

You may need more than patience to weather the upcoming storm on this one.

but seriously - i have to agree with dana! if anything a cat might eat the chihuahua!! eh...just ignore him and get it anyway! ;)

Yeah, you tell him!

Okay, here's my story for the week since I can't post it on my blog.

We were at my in-law's Friday night, and it was getting late and I was tired and ready to go home. Well, at 10:10 my MIL asks my 7 yr old if he wants to go swimming. I was in the other room, but overheard. I told my son that it was too late, that we were going to be leaving in a few minutes, and I moved the bag with the swimsuits in it close to the front door so it'd be ready to go.

Well the next thing I knew, my MIL is going through the bag getting his suit out for him! I called into the next room, telling Connor that it's too late to go swimming and my MIL just goes and gets her suit on.

I was ticked!! We had been getting along so nicely until that point too.

All I'll say is that you will regret the chihuahua. Dogs always SEEM like a good idea at the time but always seem to last longer than their welcome. Then again, I'm a cat person so factor that in!

My little sis is jumping for joy because they just found a new home for Arwin the (can't spell the real word) Hot Dog dog. You're on a farm though so that might be easier than the suburbs. Good luck!

Oh dear! I don't think I would have been able to NOT speak my mind at that point...I hope you find just the right little dog for your home! :) Hope your week is going well! :)
