Congratulations! It's A...

Well, we're not sure about male or female, but we know it is sure cute! Desi and Lucy welcomed their 3rd baby on Monday. Wild Child named it Iko.

Check out it's boat. It borrowed it from the Zhu Zhu pets. Is there anyone out there disappointed with the ZhuZhu toys? They are a real let down...wish they worked as well as they do on the commercial. Bummer.

I Came, I Went, I Shopped!

Here is my loot from the Memories Scrapbooking Expo in Columbus...{and Archivers in Easton}

The stamp sets that coordinate with the Nestabilities die cuts. Can't wait to play with these. These are the products that made all those paper flowers I showed in the last post.

Dear Lizzy...adorable!

Papers from TPC studios...glitter from PKGlitz...fiber {2 yards for $1}...Jolee's Easter pack

Paper by Cosmo Cricket

Paper by TaDa Creative Studios...love the little chickens!

Nerdy Bird and Cherry Delicious by Sassafras...this is the first time I have seen their products in person...I normally just drool over them online!

Paper by October afternoon.

Our make and take from Purple Daisy.

Paper from K&Co...Las Vegas laser die cute...stamps and white cards from Purple Daisy...card kit from Archivers {free with $50 purchase}

Loved the owl stamps at Inky Antics, but the prices were high on their wood stamps. I found this acrylic set {same images} for $14.95...much better!

Some of my loot from the $1 booth. I saw these same sets for $5 each in another booth! Score!

More $1 loot...

Still more $1 loot. The Raiders helmet is for my BIL's birthday card.

Still from the $1 booth...I am totally ready for the upcoming 2 trips to Disney in the Fall 2011 and Spring 2012!

Still from the $1 booth...told you I bought alot there!

We shopped til we dropped...or at least until we were so hungry we couldn't go on...lol! I love spending the time with my mom, and I am really looking forward to her visit in a couple weeks so we can play with our new toys!

What Would You Drive 2.5 Hours To Do?

I love love love the sight of this sign!

This Saturday, we {me, mom, Manga Dork, and MD's BFF Taylor} drove to Columbus Ohio to attend the Scrapbook Expo.

I get so excited when I walk through the door. I spent $60 in the $1 booth! LOL! I got some really nice goodies. I am going to share pics of my goodies tomorrow. I am too lazy to drag them out and take pictures today...seriously.

We fell in love with a booth featuring stamp sets that coordinate with Nestabilities die cuts. All the flowers on the above and following projects were made with the sets.

Aren't they gorgeous! The website is www.heartfeltcreations.us. The owners are so nice and eager to show you how to use the stamps with the Nestabilities.

Another of my fave booths is Purple Daisy. They have lots of stamps that coordinate with punches. We did a make and take that I'll show you tomorrow...so fun and easy!
My laziness is due to a combination of the weather {dreary and rainy} and my mom left this morning {boohoo}. I am such a Mommy's Girl.
Happy Monday! Hope you have a great week!

What Happens In Vegas...Day #7

Yesterday, on our way to check out of the hotel we were greeted by colorful umbrellas in the lobby. They had removed the chinese lanterns they had up for chinese new year. It was so pretty.

We were so tired, but ready to head home.

I forgot to show you my fave purchase of the trip. It is a Brighton charm bracelet. I LOVE the little owl. They also have charms for each state. I would love to make a bracelet with the charms from the states I have visited.

Today I have been doing laundry. Thanks to getting only 4 hours sleep AND recovering from jet lag...I FEEL LIKE I HAVE BEEN HIT BY A TRUCK. I look like a zombie...
Highlight of the day...my little ones crawling in bed with me this morning and cuddling.
It feels good to be home. Thank you God for blessing us with such a nice trip.
Hope you all enjoyed hearing about our adventures and seeing the photos.

What Happens In Vegas...Day #6

Our final day of FUN in Vegas...

After eating a buffet breakfast we headed to Madame Tussauds. We always have a blast there. We enjoyed harassing Tiger Woods.

Manga Dork found her another Elvis on the strip...sorry Big Elvis.

We browsed the Forum Shops at Ceasar's Palace. They are fancy schmancy...there is even a Harry Winston!

The gondolas are outside too! I don't think I would have any luck getting Dr. Hubby to do them again.

Dr. Hubby's conference was over at noon so we booked a tour to the Hoover Dam. {Boy am I looking tired}

They are building a new bridge.

We rubbed the toes of the statues for good luck...at least that is what our tour guide told us to do.

When we got back to the strip we had them drop us off at MGM. I wanted to see the lions.

We had the MGM Grand Buffet for dinner {$29}. The food was ok, but the desserts were adorable and yummy! {M-Cat we were using the line "Gimme some of the yella" alot this trip...we thought we were hilarious}

The Statue dudes reminded me of New Orleans.

The M&Ms store is huge and filled with colorful merchandise. We also visited the Coke store and I had a watermelon Sprite...yummy!

A clown in a wheelchair made us these awesome hats. I love that Dr. Hubby was silly with us. It doesn't happen very often.

This zorro REALLY got into the part.

Bellagio fountains are a must see! Gorgeous!

The Mirage volcano was cool too! I am glad we took the time to see these.
We headed back to our hotel room {with gelato again.} Time to pack up...

What Happens In Vegas...Day #5

We jumped in a cab and headed for the Stratosphere. After lunch at Roxy's Diner we headed for the observation floor.

It totally took my breath being up that high. The view was amazing!

After the Stratosphere we headed for Bonanza the largest gift shop in LV.

On our walk back to the obviously grander end of the strip we passed the Sahara Hotel.

We made the mistake of stopping at Circus Circus...unless you have kids that you want to let run wild then this is not the hotel for you. I couldn't wait to get out of there!

We stopped at our hotel to pick up Dr. Hubby and then we headed to watch the Treasure Island Pirate Porn Show...yeah...not very kid-friendly.

We fought the crowded sidewalks back into our hotel. I love the Canal Shoppes.

The gondolas are so romantic.

Dr. Hubby gave in and joined us for the "boat ride around a swimming pool." {His exact words}

Our gondalier was adorable and from Italy. He sang to us...so romantic. I was looking around at the gorgeous surroundings...Dr. Hubby pointed out the small motors on the bottom of the boats. Men!

We retired to our rooms...with more gelato and tired feet.
Tomorrow we go on the dam tour...heehee.
