These words were spoken to me this weekend. I don't know what that sausage biscuit eating election winning man is talking about! LOL!

Friday I bought Manga Dork this poster and frame to finish the walls in her room...she loved it!


When we went to town yesterday to buy a new tv (ours died) Manga Dork and I dropped Dr. Hubby off at Circuit City and we ran over to Borders. We picked up a copy of the Twilight Soundtrack. I love Bella's Lullaby, Decode, and PRETTY MUCH THE REST OF IT! LOL!

When we got to the car Manga Dork noticed our case was broken. I told her it was ok...we'd make do even though we store our cds in the case. Then she opened it up and the random poster on the inside was JAMES...she put everything back in the bag and returned it. We got Edward in the new unbroken one.


We also bought Manga Dork a tshirt with Edward on it...AND we got this limited poster for spending over $25...cute! Is anyone attending the PARTY at Borders on the 15th?

Sooooo....it is kinda hard to defend yourself against "being obsessed" while wearing the tshirt...listening to the soundtrack...holding your book...talking about driving an hour and a half to attend a party at a bookstore...AND stopping to pick up items for your own birthday/movie premiere party. I guess...if it quacks like a duck...

Weekend Update

It's Weekend Update time! Here we go...

This week started out with a serious warning about sausage biscuits. We are going to the store today and HE is going too...so the burden is off my shoulders. LOL!

Tuesday morning is when the stomach virus hit me...it took me 4 days to return to "normal." It really knocked me off my feet.

Wild Child and I spent some quality time together on Wednesday...she was so good. Then on Friday I went with my SIL in town. My 2 little ones were so bad....they were the kids that people were whispering about in each store. It was SO embarrassing. I don't know what caused their behavior....I wanted that cage Mechelle showed us in her post.

On Friday I also ordered my carpet for my schoolhouse. To answer a few of your questions...it is on our farm...it had been turned into an apartment...living room/kitchen is being turned into my scrap room and the bedroom will be a playroom. I will definitely show photos...I am so excited. I have a couple more things to paint this coming week. I think while they install the carpet I will be loading up my car with my scrap stuff...can't wait to have my dining room back!

When Dr. Hubby told me he wanted to run for coroner my reaction was...."Now there is a sexy job." LOL! We'll see how he likes it.

In twilight party news...Lil Sis's travel plans are set...our movie tickets have been ordered at the brand new Marquee Cinema 14...the invites will be done in the next couple days and mailed out...we are going to order shirts from cafepress.com! Be looking for a birthday giveaway!

Busy Bee Is Me!

I got great news! Some of you may remember my project of turning the one room schoolhouse into a scraproom/playroom. Well, it has been one year and I have been VERY patient! On the 17th the carpet is being laid!!! It should be ready before Lil Sis arrives. I can't wait to show it to her.

I have been a busy girl and I am finally feeling back to normal after that nasty stomach bug. Cutie Patootie got bit by a cat...she is on antibiotics and fine. I went in town with my SIL today and got some great stuff at Micheals. They have ALL there fall on sale for 70-80% off! I also attended my monthly scrap club and we made Halloween and Christmas 2 page layouts. I am ready for bed!

Out And About With Wild Child

I am feeling much better today...thank you to everyone for their get well wishes. That was one doozey of a virus! Yesterday I went into town to pick up Halloween portraits. I took Wild Child with me. Cutie Patootie is better too, but she stayed with MIL to rest. As I was driving to town I realized how very little one on one time I get with Wild Child. So I decided to make it a special day...

We visited Petco. She loves animals. These turtles were so cool.

We went to TJMaxx and I let her use the camera to take pictures. She loved this purse (I am SO teaching her well).

I taught her where to place her hands on the camera and to look at the screen to see what she is shooting. Love this fun mask! She would NOT put it on...it creeped her out.

Are you ready for this? Almost every store we went in was decked out for the holidays. Wow! It is getting close. I helped Wild Child choose the items for her Christmas shoebox project.

After all that shopping we were hungry AND tired. We bought a new Dora video for our car (it is a rolling movie theatre with its 6 screens) and picked up some Wendys.

I picked up the Twilight movie guide...all I can say is pages 126 and 136-137 make me all tingly and excited and....I CAN'T WAIT! I also found this cool wire apple for my party table centerpiece.

#1. Paris...I want to travel to another country and this is my first pick...I am a romantic so what better place to visit!

#2. I am SO star struck...I want to visit LA....walk down the Walk of Fame...I want to meet a celebrity...I want to see papparazzi!

#3. Hawaii...I would love to visit this beautiful place...I want to see a volcano.

#4. I would love to see the sphinx and the pyramids. They kinda give me the creeps though. LOL!

#5. The last place I would love to see is my birthmother's home....I would love to find her and sit down and talk for hours.

ABC Wednesday

The letter is P...The last couple days the letter P has been around alot (puke, poop, potty, popsicles, pop, prescription meds, pajamas) BUT you definitely don't want to see ANY of those...so I am sharing a photo from our New York City trip...this is the POLAR BEAR from the Central Park Zoo.

My Health

I am feeling much better today. I am still a little weak and my sides are sore from puking so hard. MIL was a life saver and kept the kids yesterday and last night. Unfortunately late last night Cutie Patootie started puking. I am taking Wild Child with me today. We are picking up their Halloween costume portraits. We are also putting together a Christmas Shoebox for Wild Child's preschool. Hopefully I don't overdo it.

I'm Gonna Hurl...Again.

Hello bloggy buddies....I am very sick today...I woke up at 530AM and began puking. I have been on the potty more times than I can count. I can't do more than get up for a minute maybe two and then I either lay back down or run to the bathroom. Boy, I could have used a free day or a day on the couch...but not this way!

Do Not Ever...

If someone (who will remain nameless) asks you to bring home 2 boxes of sausage biscuits from the grocery store...DO NOT accidentally bring home the twinpack mini sized ones even if they are out of the ones he asked for.

If you go in town the next day and he specifically tells you to pick up the sausage biscuits while you are at the store again....DO NOT go to his office to type and print your daughter's report and then stay a little later than you should have because you were printing pictures for your Twilight invitations and then raced through the store so no one would ask what took so long....cause you will forget to pick up the sausage biscuits!

This ends badly... LOL!

Weekend Update

This is Four Seasons Farm Weekend Update...I am Scrappy your host...let's take a look at what happened during Halloween week...

A flock of little black birds "Alfred Hitchcocked" our lawn on Monday. Since then we have seen several more smaller flocks. Creepy!

On Tuesday we found out what bad guessers everyone is...but on Thursday Mommablogsalot was able to guess my Halloween costume (nerd) after several BIG hints.

On Wednesday we had Directv hooked up complete with DVR....it was well worth the wait for just one thing I recorded....can you guess what it was?...THE TWILIGHT TRAILER...we watch it before bed every night. HeeHee!

On Thursday we celebrated Halloween in our small town. What fun! PLUS you all got to meet my alter ego Samuel Yoder.

On Friday Dr. Hubby ordered my birthday present...I am so excited about Lil Sis coming...the camera will just have to wait...Manga Dork is letting me use hers if you were wondering how I am still taking pics after the death of mine. When choosing it was a no-brainer! Manga Dork and a group of her friends went to a haunted house...2 of her friends stayed over...I half expected to wake up with them in my bed the next morning.

On Saturday Dr. Hubby took some cows to the market...their scale broke...he did not get home til 2AM. We were supposed to go to a bonfire at a friend's home...Cutie, Manga Dork, and I went without him and Wild Child. It was fun though...

Her Dad had cut all the poles for roasting weinies and marshmallows...YUM!

Cutie Patootie is so bashful when she first gets somewhere...this is how she stayed for the first hour! Sometimes she was even UNDER my skirt!

I love this group of girls...they are so much fun!

We took Manga Dork's BFF with us to Walmart before the bonfire! Look what she bought! That's me....spreading the addiction one person at a time! LOL! I so wanted one of these copies with the movie characters on the front...I already have one paperback and one hardback...Mechelle has 7 Christmas trees...hmmmm....it has a poster in it...it has discussion questions in it....I settled for her friend bringing it home with us!

This was a sight worth celebrating!

She is a die-hard Twilight fan...She even ordered cool contacts that will make her eyes amber like Edwards! How cool! She has inspired Manga Dork and I to go as vampires...I SO feel like a Trekkie or a Star Wars freaky person....AND I LOVE IT!
