My Redneck Man

Yesterday my Dr. Hubby and FIL attended the yearly MEGA fleamarket in a nearby town. He called me and declared it a "hillbilly mall." He was in HEAVEN!

He never leaves the house without an ironed shirt, but he said at the flea market it wouldn't matter.

He said there weren't many women there...maybe 5 young girls and a few chain smokin' grandmas. He came home with a Suzuki Samurai to go "ridge riding", a boat motor, a Smith and Wesson, 2 Beagles, a saddle, and some drill bits. {I WILL be placing an order for my tables from Longaberger tomorrow!} I was shocked at how much he spent...but I LOVE that he had such a good time.

I love that he came home smiling and talking about how great his day was with his Dad. It was hard to give him up for the day...I was even dumb enough to agree to let him go back today. His Dad called at 8AM saying he couldn't sleep for thinking about going back today. I didn't have the heart to tell him "no." So I took a pic of my Louis "Faux"ton purse so he can pick up a matching wallet at the fake purse booth and kissed him goodbye.
Should I be worried that he took the dog crate again?!
And I think I heard him say "coon dog."

You're definitely a better woman than I. (But we all knew that...) Those kinds of places scare the bejeebers out of me because my husband loves that kind of stuff too. But I draw the line at coon dogs. Oh, heck, NO!

You're funny! I love going to some of the flea markets just to sit around and watch people.
