A Peek At Our Family Room

This room is still not complete and kinda feels like we are moving and have packed away everything except the large pieces.

We decided to go with the leather furniture. The pillows are from TJMaxx and bring the orange of this room together with the yellow and red you can see in the dining room. Our flooring is Harvest Oak laminate {cause the littles would DESTROY hardwood} byMohawk. The 3 girls' pictures will hang above the sofa with a Longaberger wood and wrought iron shelf below them.

The rug is from Lowes and is all shaggy and fabulous. This pic does not do it justice. Everytime someone comes over the first thing they say is "I LOVE that rug." I am going to do a creamish tan textured curtain on that window...when I find it.

I am in love with our new fireplace/media console. It actually looks like a fire burning {I should have turned it on for the pic} and will heat up to 200 square feet. I added some Longaberger baskets. I am ordering the wrought iron end tables and coffee table from Longaberger this week.
I will post another update on this room when it is completed.

I'm loving the colors. the couches look so comfy too. Fireplace/media console? What a clever idea. Of course, it would probably never get turned on here.

I totally heart the little girls room. I love the bedding and a bed pulls out. Very cool.

The living room is beautiful too. I love the fireplace with the TV over it. That is a great idea - Love it! Everything is coming together wonderfully! I bet new rod iron tables will be the icing on the top. I love that you are getting all new stuff - you lucky duck!! Soooo fun!

Ooo, your house is all spiffy now... wanna come do mine... I just need to repaint the dining room and then put the wall paper up that I've had for 5 years, then there's the... hee hee... the rooms look beautiful and cozy. I love the color, is it peach or pumpkin? It's hard to tell on the computer. The fireplace console is way cool!

Very nice! I love that color on the walls. And your furniture is very nice, too! You need to do a close up of the shaggy rug. It looks awesome. WHat are the colors in it?
