She was so brave and appeared completely relaxed...I was on the verge of tears when we walked in the door. My baby is going to the dentist.
The waiting room was frigid, and she was still cool as a cucumber...I was very tense...
I was so glad they let me go back with her. She let them take xrays and do all the cleaning. She was a little pro. Not one complaint or whimper (from her).
The bad news...we have to drive to Columbus, Ohio to visit a pedodontist (I think that is what they are called) to have the tooth (and a couple other small places) worked on.
I guess I can quit dusting the mantle for my Mother of the Year trophy...however I am in denial and I blame Dr. Hubby and his evil drawer of suckers at his office. What kind of doctor gives a child suckers! The kind that is in kahoots (sp?)(is that even a word?) with the dentist! LOL!
TGIF!

Totally Dr. Hubby's fault.
Remind me to wear a hat the next time I go to the dentist. She looks too cute.
This made me smile. She was so darling and SO GOOD! I am very proud of her!
Our newly graduated dentist son finally started seeing his first patients this week. He called me and was traumatized after his first 'little' patient grabbed the needle just as he went to numb her for a filling! He is not so sure of the little ones yet...LOL... unless they were as good as your precious angel!
Thanks for the cute picture of the perfect patient! What a cute sweetheart.
Beth~♥
Our other son who is still in dental school has two little girls and I am sure would have the 'parent tools' to deal with the situation a bit better. This one is a newly wed! LOL
What a sweetheart! She looks so brave!
She did better than I do!!
Awhhh man!! :( Elly today gave the nurse sass when she handed her a sticker and not a sucker. LOL!
That does it!! I am totally wearing my hat next time. Maybe If I pretend to be cool, calm, and collected ....The dentist won't freak me out!!
oh yeah... definitely Dr. Hubby's fault
{{ wink, wink... nod, nod }}
she is just such a cutie.. i love the ensemble... so stylish! good luck at the future dental appointments.
What a trooper! I hope Toot is that good at the dentist when she has to go some day!
ok. so im crazy jealous of wild child. im almost 30, and i am never this calm and happy about going to the dentist.
What a cutie and a big, brave girl too! I get all weird, scared and clamy when I go to the dentist! And I agree, it is all Dr. Hubby's fault...=)
this is no reflection of your mothering skillz.
honest!
She is SO cute! Wish I could be as calm when it's my turn to go to the dentist. :) And how is it your fault that she has to get some teeth worked on? You are still totally up for Mother of the Year Award, no worries.
