How is it possible this baby is a freshman?! She came home saying "I love high school...it is so much better than junior high!"
Wild Child went to Kindergarten. This is not exactly how I pictured her first day of school. She seems to be enjoying it, but isn't really "talky" about it yet.Wild Child says she kissed Landen yesterday. He has been her "boyfriend" for 2 years. I was shocked. I think this comes from hearing about Manga Dork's first kiss she received a couple weeks ago.
I broke down and cried last night. I am tired...physically and emotionally. I have a new respect for mother's of children in wheelchairs. Lifting them breaks your back, but seeing them not be able to do the stuff the other kids are doing BREAKS YOUR HEART. I am thankful this is only temporary.
The first week is almost over!

Our 5 yr. old grandson broke his leg a couple of years ago. It broke my heart. I know what you mean. They handle it a lot better than we do. He's fine now, but I still remember it with fear and loathing... Good luck. How much longer does she have to wear it?
We go to the ortho on Tuesday and he seemed to think she should get it off then...I hope so.

Yay for your doohickey working. Now my doohickey that lets me read your blog isn't working. I have to close internet explorer and open Firefox every time. Stupid IE. The girls look so cute. I love your back to school flag, too.
It's so nice that they enjoy school.. They'll have alot of fond memories when they're older. :) I broke my ankle when I was 15. I was in a cast (Screws and no weight on it) and used crutches for 8 weeks. She'll be ok :) and running in no time.
Wild Child looks super cute with her cast that matches her outfit. I remember my daughter's first kiss. I think she was 4(?) possibly five and kissed her boyfriend from preschool. Thankfully, he moved far, far away! :)
Well they BOTH look adorable. And CLEARLY I missed out on a juicy story with Mangadork! My first kiss (probably like everyone else) was SO awkward!

I was complaining about my hernia surgery the other day to a woman who had 29 hernias....All from lifting her husband in a wheelchair..
