How To Freeze Off Your Toes And Not Even Care

On Saturday we attended the 5th annual Christmas parade in our small town. My favorite "float" was "The Christmas Story." Ya gotta love the leg lamp!

Pretty horses...

The 2 littles LOVE the parade. They rush to collect all the candy thrown to them. When they saw Santa and Mrs. Claus they started squealing and waving.

Manga Dork loves the parade too, but don't tell her friends. She has a cool teen rep to keep up!

Wild Child gave Santa a great big hug! Then we all ran for the truck to warm up. My fingers and toes were froze!

We picked up chinese and came home to watch Mrs. Miracle on the Hallmark Channel.
I love this time of year!

I think that looks like so much fun. Yours is the second blog where I read about a Christmas parade in their small town. So cute!
We don't do that, Wish we did.

Looks like fun. Our Parade of Lights Christmas Parade is this Saturday. Last year it was snowing and freezing...it is sure to be very cold again this year, but don't know about the snow part. It is always fun to see the creativity that goes into the floats.

Stay warm! =)

I love small towns, parades and Christmas. This sounds like my type of good time. It's great that the little ones still love Santa. He's a great tradition.

I think that would be my favorite float too!

We had a Christmas festival in our little town last weekend. They even brought in a truckload of snow. Of course we had to miss it because I had bunko. Priorities, you know.

Fun parade pictures. This year we were smart and took sleeping bags to crawl into and sit in our fold up chairs. It was a lot warmer, but we couldn't get up and run to get candy, but lots of people dropped them in our laps. Good times!
I watche
d Mrs. Miracle too. I loved it. :-D
