I Can't Believed It Happened On Mom's Day...

On Saturday I drove to my parent's home in WV. Lil Sis was there! My grandparents came to eat dinner with us and you don't want to know what we ate! My skinny butted Lil Sis requested a menu of fried chicken, homemade mashed potatoes, baked beans, and breadsticks.

On Sundaywe went to breakfast with BIL's family at Bob Evans...more bad food! It was at Bob Evans that the most horrible thing happened....something that had only happened maybe one time before...something that threatened to ruin the day...my heart started pounding...then I could do nothing but throw up my hands, sigh, and declare...

"My camera battery is DEAD!" Argh.

My kids gave me scrapbook stuff and some cute trinkets from Micheals...Dr. Hubby gave me an air conditioner for the scrappy schoolhouse and 2 hanging baskets (geraniums).

We gave my mom chocolate and a $50 gift card to Michaels. We gave MIL a rose bush and binoculars...this is what she told Dr. Hubby she wanted! Now I just need window blinds for our house..LOL!

Happy Belated Mom's Day to all the great mom's here in BlogWorld!

You will have to use your memory picture I guess. Bummer.
Sounds fun though. You got some goods.

OH...that is too bad....those batteries always die at the worst times!

Hey...you live near WV? We are driving down to WV the end of May for our friends wedding...they live near Wheeling OR West Liberty...you live near there? Just thought I'd ask! We ♥ to visit them there....completely different then out neck-of-the-woods! ...and I remember there is a Bob Evans across the street from the Huge Cabelas...that is the first I had heard of that restaurant!

I hate it when that happens. So sorry!
Bummer about making Magan Dork upset these things happen though.
I think it is a good thing we aren't neighbors we would probably be yelling over to each other over the fence. Just think of the fun we could have. Hugs, Bobbi Jo

I am laughing about the binoculars and needing blinds now.

Glad you had a good day. I didn't let my boys take me out to eat. I was sticking to my diet! They will owe me later.

I am glad you had a wonderful Mother's day with your Mom and your little sister. How exciting to be together with the ones you love ... sharing joy in being wonderful mothers. Too bad about the dead camera - I hate that when it happens. At least you were able to journal about those memories..

My poor camera battery died on my daughter's recital not too many weeks ago. I was devastated.
