I Couldn't Resist!

My friend Dana from A Cat In My Lap has been participating in Tablescape Thursday sponsored by Susan at Between Naps on the Porch. I just had to give it a try...

Life Is A Bowl Full of Cherries Breakfast

I started small with a place setting at the bar for my daughter.

Plate and mug...Mary Engelbreit "Cherry Cameo"

Bowl...Earthenware "Terramoto Two" (TJMaxx)

Placemat and napkin...Walmart

Have you left a "love note" for your kid(s) lately?

Happy Thursday!

That is a great idea! I used to put encouraging notes in their lunch boxes or pockets! They are grown up now but remember me doing that!
Have a great day!

Very cute and inviting place setting. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so best to make it enticing.

I'm a first timer posting to Tablescape Thursday as well..so thought I would pop over for a little moral support. Your placesetting looks quite charming and love the red. I've also read through some of your blog and really enjoyed visiting. Come over and visit with me if you have a chance.

I'm glad you came to join us! I love Dana's blog. Your table setting is so cute and cheerful. Obviously you like color as much as I do! Don't ya miss Mary Engelbreit's magazine? Wonder why all the good ones are falling by the wayside? Anyway, come back and join us again!

Cute, cute, cute!

I sometimes put notes in the boys lunches. Well, not the 13 yr old so much anymore. He would be embarrassed for sure.

What a lovely way to start the morning! I used to send notes in my sons' lunch boxes. When they got "too old" for such stuff, I would put a Hershey's kiss in. They knew it was a kiss from me and their friends were none the wiser!
It's funny...the 29 year old mentioned these "kisses" just the other day...

Gotta love Mary and her cherries! I definitely sent notes to my kids in their lunches every day. They are both grown now...no more lunch notes. I just might have to come up with some other way to surprise them. Thanks for sharing.
