Shame Shame...I'm Takin' The Blame

Well...last night was TOPS...I gained 3/4 of a pound...my first gain...boohoo! I am so over it though. I just have to do better this week! Manga Dork lost 1/2 a pound and her friend Tay lost 2.75 pounds. They have both lost 9 pounds total now! I am so proud of them.

I am so sick of the commercial advertising Wendy's newest guilty pleasure. These have been haunting me since our last date night...I want them! I looked up their nutritional content...550 CALORIES AND 18 GRAMS OF FAT...I don't want them! Yikes! Who am I kidding...I still want them...if anyone reading this eats them...please let me know...I want to live vicariously through you.

Speaking of guilty pleasures...I am addicted again...I finally found something to fill the Housewives void...I {heart} America's Got Talent. I like watching the stories behind the really great people...like the 3 kids singing "God Bless America" in the hospital while their momma was in a coma after being hit by a drunk driver...sniffle...but I have to say the greatest moment so far was Kevin Skinner from Kentucky...he was the biggest hick I've seen in a while (and I was raised in WV)...he admitted to being a "chicken catcher" and "not real good with math." The audience laughed at him and exchanged glances complete with rolling eyes...and then he started singing...there was not a peep...he finished singing "If Tomorrow Never Comes" by Garth Brooks and the crowd went wild...a standing ovation...well Mr. Skinner...they ain't laughin' now...well done.
TGIF!

Sorry about the gain!

I used to attend a TOPS group but our group was more of a social hour for the elderly than a serious weight loss group. I loved the ladies- just noticed they never really lost any weight.

I had a 1.5 pound gain on vacation. Sigh. It's so easy to put it on and so much work to take it off.

Oh- and on the Wendy's thing, so long as it pencils out to no more than 30% fat, I could totally still eat it on my non-plan plan. 18 grams of fat may not be that high depending on how many grams of proteins and carbs there are.

Don't worry about the little gain - Just keep going you are doing great!!

Like you, I had dreams about Wendy's new BBQ chicken nuggets. They were really good. And then I went into a coma.

Whenever I go up a little, I just think it's water and try to drink more to get it off. Green tea is supposed to be good for that. It'll come back off.
