Slow Down Summer!

Yesterday we attended the reward party for the library's summer reading program...what?!...already!?

Thursday night's weigh in was the half way point of our summer weigh ins...it's going too fast!

I am not ready for this to be over...

I am going to have to make the rest of these weeks really count. Things we are looking forward to before school starts...one more trip to spend a week with my parents...a week long trip to visit Lil Sis in NC(just me, Manga Dork, and Mom)...Princess for a Day for each girl...Farm Reading Program auction... Farm Back to School Fashion Show...6 more weigh ins...and the American Idol Concert in Pittsburgh, PA!

This kiddo announced that she wants a Nikon for Christmas...I am so proud...LOL!

The 2 little ones have been not wanting to eat their meals again so I pulled the mini muffin pan out again. If you have not tried this...it works wonders! I used green beans, pickles, shredded cheese, popcorn chicken, cheese popcorn, and strawberries.
Happy Weekend!

No kidding how fast summer has gone by. Out here we've only had maybe a handful of real summer days too.

I'll have to try the muffin tin thing. Happy SITS Saturday Sharefest.

Your mini muffin pan idea is adorable. I used to cut my kids sandwiches with cookie cutters for fun.

I will do anything to get my 2 skinny, picky eaters to just EAT!!!

It has gone by way too fast. We start school here in 11 days!! And while I'm ready to have some alone time again, I know I will miss the boys and the lazy days.

Someone needs to toss out an anchor to slow the summer down! It really does seem to be flying by way to fast!!

Great idea about to use the mini muffin pans!

I love the girls (divas) laying in the sun with their sunglasses and books soaking up the rays. A great shot!

I can't believe how fast life goes in general... How fast that 50 year old mark is coming... Life just needs to slow down -- quickly!

You are such a fun Mom and I love all of the things you have planned. Take lots of pictures with your Nikon! I want one too!!

I've seen the muffin pan idea before too... Where were all these great ideas when I had little ones. I love creative people who come up with these ideas. I love all the colors of food. Eye candy.

I have to say that this weeks Sunday Paper Ads were full of School supply sales. It's coming quickly!

what a terrific idea for the kids. Isn't it crazy how you'll go to soooo much trouble and then there is at least 1 that whines or complains. I'll remember you next time I'm trying to trick the 9 year old into eating what makes the rest of us happy. :0)

I am so glad that is working for you. I think I will start muffining it around here. They are eating out of troughs.
