Everything A Man Won't Do...A Woman Can Do Without Him!

For the little ones' 2009 birthdays BIL & SIL bought them this Mini Market for their playroom at the schoolhouse. I have been wanting them to get a play kitchen ever since.
This Christmas they received the Sizzlin' Kitchen from FIL & MIL. I promised them I would have it put together this weekend. Well, there wasn't a man in sight willing to help me.

So I did it all by myself. Those things are not easy...the screws had to be screwed into places where there were no premade holes. My arms got so sore, and I wanted to quit several times. I am glad I didn't...

cause these smiles and giggles were well worth the effort! They love it!
Do you have trouble finding help putting things together?
Do you have an item laying around because no one will give you some help putting it together?

Those look like so much fun! I don't have trouble getting stuff put together. Dh is kind of awesome about that.

Great job!

Can I come play? I promise to behave myself.

(My husband just seems to be missing when I get home with groceries) Funny how that happens.

You did a great job!! I put everything together in our house...the hubbie is not helpful in this area so I just do it myself. The last project was an cabinet for our t.v. and it took me 4 hours with 2 kids climbing on me...not fun...but I love it now. I'm not afraid to tackle those types of projects...bring them on! (grin)

Enjoy your day.

No way.... Those are the coolest playsets. I'm in awe at how cool. Since I never had any girls - I missed all those fun things.

I'm proud of you for putting it together... All I can say is..... welcome to the life of a single woman *wink.

Really those are really cool! I can imagine the fun those two will have in the school house playroom. Yeah!

Good for you! Unless I can figure it out in three or less steps, it's a no go for me!

Great job putting them together! I put most things together myself... Stuff I buy for myself anyway... like my desk, bookshelves etc.... I cut and sand all of my own wood. Most of the power tools in the garage are mine. But if My Handyman is around.. I always ask him first. I need to make sure he feels needed occasionally! :)

Well done! I have such a hard time putting things together, but sometimes I'm the only one around.

How fun for them!

Right now I have a light switch that needs to be replaced with a dimmer switch.

I have been waiting for three years to have someone put up a shelf in the laundry room!!!! I would do it myself, but I don't want it to be lopsided...lol.
