Not A Book Worm in 2009

The Perfect Christmas by Debbie Macomber (****)
Gatecrasher by Madeline Wickham (***) (2 many "F words")
Summer on Blossom Street by Debbie Macomber (****)
Mommywood by Tori Spelling (**)
Candyland by Candy Spelling (*)
sTORI Telling by Tori Spelling (**)

How pathetic is that list?! I am hoping to get into books more in 2010. I guarantee that is the least number of books I have ever read in one year.

In 2010 I hope to read these that are currently sitting on my bookshelf:

Dear John by Nicholas Sparks (before the movie in February)
Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella
The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks
The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks
It Happened One Night by Lisa Dale

What is the best book you read in 2009?
What book are you gonna read in 2010?

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! Can you believe it's already the start of another year? :)

I don't think your book list is pathetic! I read less this last year than I typically do, I must admit...BUT the best book I read this year was "A Christmas Carol" by Dickens. I was not expecting to like it, but I did, and very much so! I just started "Pride and Prejudice" and it is SO good. Again I am surprised to like this book although the movie was wonderful!

If you like Nicholas Sparks, you probably saw "The Notebook"...SUCH a good movie! Are his books good? I haven't read any of his books, but they look really interesting for sure! :)

Well, a very Happy New Year to you, and have a wonderful day! :)

I've read 2 of the 4(out so far) Fablehaven Books. I like them. I need to get the next 2 read.. waiting on Brady.

I completely FELL in LOVE with "The Hunger Games". Although the 2nd book ends in a cliffhanger and the next book doesn't come out until August. I could die waiting for what happens next.

I received "The Mortal Instruments" for Christmas. I'm on Chapter 3 of the first book. There are 3 books. I'm liking it soooo far.... My friends liked them. I'll have to let you know when I have more time to really dive into it.

I am an avid reader and love seeing what other people like.

Last year I ready too many to count. Right now I'm in the middle of "Pillars of the Earth"
Not sure how much I love it yet.

Someone else recommended Hunger Games. I'm glad to know that Sondra liked it.

I read 2-3 books a month. Not sure how I get it done but somehow I do... mainly just before bedtime. I recently have been reading books by Lisa Gardner. They're suspense and I have about 4 more in my stack by her. Let me see here. On my books to read shelf I have 19 books. Oh wait.. My daughter bought me a couple for Christmas. Make that 21....

I love all those books you have listed. I've read them all, except the last. I got about 10 books for Christmas that I can't wait to read, and Luvpilot got me a Kindle so I'm gonna try that out soon. Reading a good book is my favorite thing to do. I should do more of that and less computer time.

I just finished "Dear John" It was good!
I read everything in sight and always have!
I try to be more well rounded though and not just the top 10 romances on the bestsellers list. There are so many good things to not only read, but learn too!
Have fun.

Dear John was a really good book. I always enjoy NS books. I just got the lucky one and will probably start it this weekend.
