Where Are You Jimmy Buffet?...Beach Boys?...Frankie Avalon?

All this snow has me dreaming of the beach and SUMMER! Don't get me wrong...I enjoy the sparkly flakes and rosy red cheeks BUT after 8 days I have had my fill. We have 10-12 inches and I have not been off the farm since last Saturday! Today it is 21 degrees, but there is a side note that says it will feel like 11. Brrr...

What are you looking forward to doing this summer?
How many inches of snow do you have?

It hasn't snowed in about a week, but I'm sure it will soon. I'm sure the skiiers are loving life right now.

All of our snow is gone (except on the mountains) and we are supposed to be in the upper 30's/low 40's this week.
Looking at where the country is being hit I think we are in the mild area.
Hang in there!!

Hi Sweetie...
It's Sherry out here in the Phoenix sun. I am sending you some rays for melting that DAMN snow. I hope it works. I know how you are feeling. Lived in Oklahoma and hated the winters there. It is so easy to see how people get SADS when they see no sun, only weeks of clouds and cold.

I so love the pic of the shore, isn't it beautiful. I can hear the waves rushing to the shore.

I'll tell you what I did one winter. I brought the little kiddie pool into the house. Bought a couple of bags of sand at Home Depot, added one of my husband's spot lights (At a distance now because they do get hot) and took my babies to the beach on a January day. It was the best day we had at the beach. We made sand castles and laughed for hours. A little hint tho, I put a BIG painters cloth underneath so the sand stayed contained. But it was worth every minute of happiness it brought to my three kids.

Try to have a beautiful day sweetie and I hope you feel these rays real soon.

Country hugs sweetie...Sherry

You poor girl!! I can't believe how fears this winter has been to the eastern part of the US.. I hope you were able to go down to the school house and scrap to your hearts content.

Here in Idaho - no snow except in the shaded areas like my front yard. Which is just fine for me.

I can't wait until summer either. I always get the winter blues really bad... However, we did have one day this week with SUN but cold temps. It's been a very mild winter here and we are well below an average water year... drought maybe??

I hope the sun shines on you soon as we dream for warmer days. {{Hugs}}

The temp is in the 40's here and no snow..it all melted! It did try to rain, but that didn't last long. I hope the summer holds some fun outings, camping and fishing! Try not to go stir-crazy being housebound....=P

We aren't snowed in but I'm still sick of the cold. I'm looking forward to 'Adventure Days' with my kids when the warmer weather finally comes.

Our Christmas Eve snow is still showing! ACK! Never in Oklahoma does snow last so long, it has been below freezing here for weeks. But this week we get up to the 40's and one day is supposed to be 54! A heat wave!

I hope this summer that Steve will take me on vaca to my cousins beach cottage in Destin Florida. I don't know if he will, but I can dream about it anyway.

Much Love,
Dana and Daisy

I'm not even sure I should answer this because you'll probably hate me after.

No snow.
In the 70's.
But, if it makes you feel better, we may get some rain this week.

Summer plans? Probably Disneyland (or maybe in the spring), and Lake Powell. We always hit the lake during the summer. Other than that, hanging by the pool. I'm looking forward to that, even though it means hot!

I'm just baby stepping my way to March 6th when I head to Cancun. For a week, I can pretend that I have no worries and it is warm, sunny and NO SNOW!

I'm over winter. Actually I was never in to it, and I fully realize I live in the wrong state.
