You've Never Had It So Random {Summer Is Almost Over Edition}

Wild Child's leg is doing well. However, she may not have a butt left after scooting around the house on it. All consults are in and the growth plate is fine and the torn muscle should heal quickly.

I went to see Vampires Suck last Friday. It was very funny, but I wouldn't suggest going to see it unless you are a Twihard! They should have incorporated more of the other vampire themed movies/shows/books. My fave line "My family has learned to survive on the blood of animals...and the Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Our fave cousins came and shopped with Manga Dork and I this weekend. Now I only need tennis shoes for the little ones and I will be completely done!

We start school on the 30th...Cutie starts preschool on Sept. 8th.

When you say things to or about people and then take them back....it is like hammering nails into a piece of wood. If you take the nails out you still leave holes. It is never quite the same.

We watched The Last Song on PPV the other night. Oh Nicholas Sparks....me thinks you need to quit making your books into movies. Although it was not nearly as mind-numbing as Dear John.

Is it possible to have a midlife crisis at 35? I feel mildly depressed and not sure about my path...

I am going to start trying more recipes in September. I made my first roast with potatoes, onions, and carrots this past weekend. It was yummy! If I keep enjoying it so much I may end up with my own show on Food Network. My tag line would be "Nom...nom...nom"...cause it irritates my teen! lol

Season Finale of New Jersey Housewives tonite! I hope it doesn't come off as "set up" and fake as some of the other things this season. I think I will put on cheetah and zebra print clothes...tease my hair...and eat some spaghetti!

Happy Monday!

Glad your Wild Child's leg is healing up nicely!

I think that Vampire Sucks movie looks SO stinkin' funny! I have laughed so hard at all the video clips - I need to see that at some point!!

My kids go back to school on the 30the also. One more week of summer for the kiddo's.

Congrats on your roast - Cooking is fun and it can feel so satisfying to feed your family good food - Keep on truckin' I think you are doing great!!

Scrappy you and those Real Housewives just crack me up - I think you need to be on one of those shows!

Have a super day!!

LOL..I would like to see a picture of you dressed like that!

I wish I were a fly on the wall to see your leopard/zebra look. I've never seen any of the real housewives. We don't have cable and besides my life is too crazy, I don't want to see someone's elses

Glad Wild child's leg is healing well. She'll be running and bouncing before you know it.

I hated school shopping so bad. For the last two years of my youngest I paid my DIL to take her. It was painful to have to shop.

What will you do with your quiet time in the day?

Tauna...I will only have 2.5 hours MWF with no kids. Cutie will be with me all the other time. I have considered a file clerk job in Dr. Hubby's office. I love alphabetizing and filing and organizing. I have an associate degree in Office Tech specializing in Medical.

If scooting around on your butt makes it go away, let me know. I'll start doing it. You're almost set for school. Wish my daughter was. Happy Monday to you too.

Truer words never were spoken about the nails in a board. So true!

You aren't having a mid-life crisis as people think of it. You're at what I call the "Mid-Mom Crisis" phase. It's the 'second stage' of Motherhood. The point at which it's no longer about the building phase of life (building educations, careers, families) and all about hanging on to what you have while finding new goals. My friend and I are actually about to launch a whole blog devoted to this weird phase of Motherhood that no one tells you about.

love the idea of teasing your hair and dressing up to watch tv - if only to annoy others LOL :D

Are you watching RHDC? I'm trying to get into it.

I've had two midlife crises already.

That Danielle makes me scream at my TV. She is an idiot! And there's not trying to reason with her. She just doesn't get it. Can't wait for the reunion!

Vanessa...I am watching DC, but I am having a hard time getting into it too. I can't stand that British Cat...blech!

Glad that your little one is doing well. Cute pictures and cute post. I've been missing everyone lately. Can't wait to get back to blogging on a regular basis.
Good luck on the fist day of school!
