Out Of The Mouth Of A Man

***Guest blogger post coming soon***

Yesterday we took advantage of the Labor Day sales at the furniture stores. At the end of the day we had purchased a black leather sofa and loveseat, a leather recliner, bed with trundle for the little ones, 2 twin mattresses, a twin mattress set for Manga Dork, washer, and dryer. Then I raced into Lowes at 8:53 and barely convinced them to sell me the paint for the little ones' room.

I did all of this with a headache...a horrible headache...the kind where you are not sure if your eyes are going to pop out or your neck is just going to break off.

It took alot of patience to get through the stores with 3 kids. I lost my cool, but it wasn't with my kids. Dr. Hubby had a "stupid man moment" while we were getting the washer and dryer. When we were discussing the gas vs. electric dryer he stated, "Well, in my opinion she should be washing them and hanging them on a clothesline." Right there in front of the salesman I "in so many words" told him where to stick his opinion...g-rated but filled with sarcasm.

Happy Labor Day Weekend!

It takes a man quite awhile to catch up with us ladies! ;D

Snort! You probably ought to hang those clothes on the line barefoot, with curlers in your hair and a cig hanging out of your mouth. LOL!

How fun to totally stock up like that! I love to furniture shop.

You're too kind. If Splenda had let those words slip (even jokingly), I'd have punch him in the dinger!

Maybe he needs to be hung on a clothesline for a couple of hours.

Sounds like you got a lot of great stuff.

Um, does he want his clothes washed ever again or would he prefer they be burned in the backyard?

I love the shopping spree. Hopefully you'll take pics for us.

Maybe it's time for him to do the laundry and see if he really wants to hang them out on the line :)

I should have gone furniture shopping, we need some and need them to be on a good sale. Sorry about the headache. Hopefully today will be better.

I hope the headache is better and I hope Dr. Hubby has been able to remove the dryer from whence you shoved it!
