Everything went smoothly on our flights out to Vegas. 2 cool things I saw from the planes...an island in one of the Great Lakes and Aspen Colorado and the Rocky Mountains. I had to twist my head in a VERY uncomfortable way to see the 2nd because my view was mostly a GIGANTIC wing.
We are staying at the Palazzo. It is connected to the Venetian. It is GORGEOUS and HUGE. This is the view out our window.
I told Dr. Hubby that I have seen so many photos on blogs with those type of mountains in the background. It is so nice to see them in person. Did you know Mormons are in the history of Las Vegas? They set up a mission in 1855, but several factors caused them to abandon it in 1858. I wonder if things would have gone better how that would change Las Vegas history!
We can also see The Wynn Hotel from our room. I love the reflection of the city on all of it's shiney windows.
Our hotel is simply gorgeous and I am looking forward to shooting some pics of Manga Dork.
Our hotel at night. I find myself comparing Vegas to New Orleans. I need to stop it.
I got into bed at midnight {my body knew it was really 3Am}.

We always stay at ghetto hotels when we go to Vegas. You are at a beautiful one!
Glad you are having a good time!!! Don't do anything I wouldn't do!
So much to see and take in there. I know you will have a great time and share it all with us!
Hope you're having a blast!
Oh my gosh. The views are AMAZING! I am so in love with the pictures. So completely in love!
so glad you are having a great time :D
Mormons are still a HUGE part of Vegas, with a church on every other block....so no...it would not have changed anything... ;)
let me know if you make it to any of the restaurants I suggested!
...i might be just a tad bit jealous that you are in my favorite city in the whole world.
The buildings there never cease to amaze me. The reflection in that one building is really cool and love the waterfall effect with Mega Dork in front! :)
The hotel you are staying in looks AMAZING! Wow! I love the picture of it at night! You are going to have a fabulous trip!
Beautiful hotel!
And as a Mormon, imagine how hard it was sometimes living our lifestyle with Vegas right there in our face!!
Love these posts......rubbing my hands with glee to get to the next couple of days!
