Scrappy's Schoolhouse...The Beginning

I have taken pictures through this whole schoolhouse journey...I thought I would share with you the beginning photos...

The first thing we had to do was COW removal...no there were no animals in there...just a CRAZY OLD WOMAN! LOL! She came with the farm...LOL! She was renting when we bought it...she would come to the door and shout that we were all idiots. Quite the drama!

This is the kitchen area. That big brown stain in the corner was mold or mildew or whatever else nasty you wanna call it. It had eaten a hole in the wall.

This is the living room...you can see the doors to the bathroom and bedroom.

Still the living room...yummy looking carpet...not! The living room and kitchen areas will be my scrap space.

The bathroom...can you smell that pee soaked wooden seat from there?!

The master suite...LOL! There is a sidedoor in the bedroom. If you look closely you might see some of the dead cockroaches we killed with the poison we had to put out. Yuck!
Oh look a moldy corner in this room too! My mom (the workaholic) and I washed all the walls down with bleach FIRST THING!

There is even a closet in the bedroom! The bedroom area will be the playroom for my 2 little ones.

The old lady was dating the old man that sold us the farm. They would fight alot and sometimes she would live with him and sometimes she would live here. They are still together...unfortunately she has convinced him that we are BAD! He was a nice old man.

I primed the cabinet that my FIL and BIL built for me tonite. Tomorrow I will paint the bathroom walls, bathroom door, and the cabinet. I have to touch up some places where my "cabinet builders" hit the wall. They weren't real careful!

Okay, are you moving into the schoolhouse? I love it. My mom does a daycare and calls it the schoolhouse. She would love it too.

About your comment... I hope that whatever you had a good cry about is over and done with and that the fattening food made you feel better and I hope you watch CSI cause it always makes me feel better.

I've always wanted to know what your doctor is a doctor of?

I hope you blog your party so we can be there in spirit.

CJ...I believe we had to get paperwork to evict her. She was being a pain...She lives with the old man now.

Pam...I am going in December...it will be 3 months...I am not as tired as I was when I went in for the bloodwork. I hope it is better...if it is not then I will either see a specialist or start a medication.

You've got your work cut out for ya! What'cha gonna do with the place when you get it redone/remodeled? That's a LOT of work. Sounds like you love doing projects like this. That's awesome. You can write a book about the ole lady drama! Yep, and I could smell the pee-soaked wooden toilet lid ;0). Thanks for visiting my blog! I look forward to more of your visits!

OMGosh...you need my hubby's hazmat mask from the ship...LOL! Be careful, don't clean those walls with out a mask. Airborn mold can really mess you up! You need lots and lots of Kiltz...lol! Your scrap room is going to be awesome! Have fun setting it up!

That is seriously going to be the ultimate scrapspace. I can't WAIT to see it finished. And I was serious about submitting the pictures to CK- I still have a very good connection there. Every scrapper in America would be drooling over your schoolhouse.
