Vampire Diaries has totally captured my full attention. It has me glued to the couch. I love finding a show that gives you that feeling of not being able to wait til next week's show.I love that Alana (sp?) knows about the vampires now. The scene where he tells her the truth had me quoting Twilight..."Say it out loud"..."VAMPIRE."
Some of this show is so predictable too, but I loved the Katherine twist...I didn't even consider that she was a vampire! I had envisioned her as innocent and vulnerable and tragically killed.
Bonnie has been one of my fave characters from the beginning...not sure why. I loved the dancing with Damon scene...although I would have put more modest undies on the girl! Yikes! I can't wait to see what kind of chaos she creates next week!
Now that we got blood thirsty vampires back I must admit something...it makes those sparkly ones seem a little pathetic. What did I just say? I think Damon has been using his mind control on me...

I am in LOVE with this show. I love the anticipation of what is coming next like a book. I feel as far a movie vs series-the series will win because there is lots of character development and more plot, more time to thrill, surprise, and capture my imagination. It's almost like reading a book to me. I think it is great.
The twist with Katherine was surprising. I loved the flashback and more detail to the story. I like; Elena, Stefan, Damon, Caroline, Bonnie ...
I didn't like Vicki - what a loser and I think Jeremy is a totaly cry baby loser. I think the aunt thing is kinda weird. I'm not to sure about police woman and now TV reporter dude is dead - poor auntie.
It was a little sexy with Vicki (and Katherine)... I really thought Vicki was dead. The drinking blood is crazy. I am sooooo addicted! Can't wait until next week! (I watched last nights episode twice - and maybe a few more times until next weeks show *giggle).

I just caught about 30 minutes of this show for the first time this week and my response when it was over was "Wow"! It is intense. I'll be tuning in again for sure.
It is the new nighttime Soap Opera it sounds like!

I can't believe you said 'Edward Who"! This show has not stolen my addiction from Twilight, it has made it worse. I am now Loving all things vampire for sure! However, I do love the new guys. I am really liking Bonnie's character because I think the witch stuff will be more interesting as the show moves forward. I also like Caroline because she seems to want to stir up trouble. My favorite character is Damon - WowEWow!

I have been reading the True Blood series. I didn't see those shows either.
the only vampires i ♥ are on True Blood...and i must wait until next season....but I am loving the new season of Curb, always laugh at The Office...and I have a secret addiction to all the Housewives shows...I watch the Atlanta ones after I DVR them,while I do laundry...and their lives make me sick...but i keep watching....it's like a train wreck...
how did I NOT see the barfing jack earlier? I might try to do that for halloween! ha ha!

yes, i have been watching this show too. I too was surprised about katherine. Ok, I love to hate Damon! I love to watch him and I love the bad boy in him! Yes, in some cases it is so predictable it makes me mad.
but, i am not understanding the age group of these kids. They live far too old of lives to be highschool, i mean who has parties like that. I think the writers even get confused if they are college or highschool age.
Okay the rundown - I've said it was like Angel and Twilight in one for a while now...Knew there'd have to be a reason they could go out in the sun!
The thing with Katherine totally caught me off guard... I never would have thought it would have started with her...
I like Stephen. Damon is too old. LOL I remember him from shows and movies when I was younger so there's something creepy about this guy playing around with these high school kids.
Still excited for Twilight. Still will watch Angel and Buffy when I catch the reruns too. Heck, if Peppermint Patty weren't the costume for the year, I'd go as a vampire myself...
