What Happens In Vegas...Day #5

We jumped in a cab and headed for the Stratosphere. After lunch at Roxy's Diner we headed for the observation floor.

It totally took my breath being up that high. The view was amazing!

After the Stratosphere we headed for Bonanza the largest gift shop in LV.

On our walk back to the obviously grander end of the strip we passed the Sahara Hotel.

We made the mistake of stopping at Circus Circus...unless you have kids that you want to let run wild then this is not the hotel for you. I couldn't wait to get out of there!

We stopped at our hotel to pick up Dr. Hubby and then we headed to watch the Treasure Island Pirate Porn Show...yeah...not very kid-friendly.

We fought the crowded sidewalks back into our hotel. I love the Canal Shoppes.

The gondolas are so romantic.

Dr. Hubby gave in and joined us for the "boat ride around a swimming pool." {His exact words}

Our gondalier was adorable and from Italy. He sang to us...so romantic. I was looking around at the gorgeous surroundings...Dr. Hubby pointed out the small motors on the bottom of the boats. Men!

We retired to our rooms...with more gelato and tired feet.
Tomorrow we go on the dam tour...heehee.

Your hubbys comments - crack up! Make him take you to Venice one of these days then he will be speechless!

We had lunch once at the revolving restaurant at the top of the Stratosphere. I am afraid of heights so I was jumpy the entire time, great view though!

Walking down the strip is fun - LOL about Circus Circus!!

Enjoy your Dam tour (giggle)!

Love the gondolas. How fun!

Not a fan of all the porn around Vegas either.

We always make that dam joke...so funny, and in Page, AZ there's a dam bar & grill that we eat at and have even more jokes.

Your comment about Circus Circus cracked me up because that is where BK and I stayed last time, it is certainly a circus there! :)

Yay for a gondola ride, I want to do that sometime when I go back!

Also the Stratosphere has great heights, glad you enjoyed it!

Your hubby's comments are hilarious. Nope, not that romantic, but practical.

Can't wait to see the dam pictures!!

I'm getting too many ideas of what I want to do there for the couple of hours we'll be there this weekend. I think I am going to have to plan a whole 'nother trip!
