Mission Impossible...Complete!

Remember this?

Well, it now looks like this. I still see a few things I would change {stuff hanging on ends of curtain rod}, BUT for the first time I allowed Manga Dork to do her spring cleaning all by herself. This drove my inner control freak NUTS!

I love her posters...especially the new Vampire Diaries one! Team Damon...

Manga Dork also thinks it is HILARIOUS to put her Jacob poster on her door where I have to see it constantly. Team Edward...

She removed a 30 gallon black garbage bag full of clothes from her collection and still had this many left...you can't even see the other side of jeans and stuff. She says the top of the closet is ok for now....aaaahhhh...I may have to catch her at school and fix it...lol.

Now about that world peace...

Not really sure if she is a Twilight fan :)

We dejunked the kids rooms. How do they get so much CRAP?

good for her for doing it on her own! That is the best way to do it!

That is a pretty awesome job.
World peace.........that's an understatment isn't it?

Hope you have a peaceful day.

Leave her dresser alone while she's in school.
Must play fair!

Wow, I'm so far down the list that I'll never catch up.
Who is this tammy person anywayz?

I think I'm going to go eat cookies.

With chocolate chips.

Welcome to the Garden of Egan said...

But I'm not going to do random comments just to get to the top of the list.

Welcome to the Garden of Egan said...

because as I said earlier....

Welcome to the Garden of Egan said...

I'm too far down the list.

Even though I want Scrappy Girl to love me best.

I just want to beat Cherie.

Sometimes reading comments is the best.

That room clean is amazing!

And I love the wall color. I wish I was brave like that.

And, I think it is great you are trying to breathe and let her do it--my daughter had a roommate in college that had never cleaned/organized her room. It was too important to the Mom to have it look just so. Needless to say it made for an interesting semester.Ugh

mCat said...

Wow! Well done. Now, doesn't it feel nice that you can actually breathe again?

I seriously need to do this in my storage room.

The room looks great. If only I could get my daughter to clean her closet!

This reminds me that I really need to clean to the office/storage room from hell in my basement. My office room is messier that my teenager's bedroom.

Wow. Great accomplishment! Looks so good. Now how long will it last?

tammy said...

And I think it's hilarious that she puts the Jacob poster where you have to look at it.

tammy said...

Where'd you get the cute bedding?

Welcome to the Garden of Egan said...

I think tammy may be trying to keep me in the fetal position and sucking my thumb.

Welcome to the Garden of Egan said...

But ya, where did you get the bedding?

Scrappy Girl said...

We bought the bedding and curtains 2 years ago from JCPenney. They don't have them now, but they have a similar set.

The zebra throw is from TJMaxx!

Manga Dork spelled her name wrong? Manga Dork did a good job cleaning her room and closet. Scrappy Girl, do not do anything in her room while she is at school. That would be against the rules...You can do it!

Scrappy I think you are going to have to take that DAMN comment thing off the side of your blog. It is making otherwise normal women insane. Ha Ha

Manga Dork's room is perfect - well except for that awful Vampire Diaries poster but at least with all the other posters we can tell she has her priorities straight!! LOL
I also love the bright green - cute room!

competition??

CreativeMish said...

are you giving away some kind of fabulous prize?

CreativeMish said...

Are you coming to our town to visit next?

CreativeMish said...

I know a couple of us live in the same area

Scrappy Girl said...

Oddly I offered no prize...just the crazy top ten widget. I think it is FUN and the comments are boosting my bloggy ego...lol.

The next conferences available are in San Fran, San Antonio, Orlando, Kissimmee, and San Diego...those are the ones through 2012.

OMG! That's exactly what Emma's room looks like. (except the color, but the open drawers and clothes on the floor, yep, it's a teen girl room for sure!)

laterg8r said...

fantastic that you got her to clean her own room - bet she likes it better too :D

Whoa, I have to compete with all of these comments, ha ha! :P I LOVE how it turned out, love the Twilight theme, love that she is taunting you with Team Jacob, lol. Nice work!
