Chicken Dumplings For Breakfast

Friday night we arrived at my parents' home. We were so excited to see these 2 people and their furbaby!

We spent Saturday together until 2:30ish cause they had to leave for a wedding. We have to share them with his family.

After they left we got ready and headed to the mall with mom. I now vividly remember why I hate shopping at the mall with my 2 little ones. I wanted to throw myself in the floor and have a mommy tantrum.

On Sunday we attended church...felt so good to see everyone and to hear the preachers. Cutie fell asleep.

Then we headed to my grandparents' home where I ate WAY TOO MUCH! Mustard greens, corn, green beans, mashed potatoes, chicken n dumplings, apple butter, corn bread...yum!

Now I am back home eating chicken n dumplings for breakfast...don't judge me.

Happy Monday!

PS...when going on a 4 hour road trip be sure to take more than one DVD...and if you have to take only one...make sure it is NOT Mary Poppins. We now all know every lyric to every song and will be traveling and performing as a family...NOT!

A spoon full of sugar ;-)
I'd love to see your traveling singing family.. cute!
I'm glad you had a wonderful time with your family. Families are the best AND you get to see them again in only a couple of weeks. Me toooo and I can't wait to see my own family!

I think Chicken and Dumplings sounds divine for breakfast! Oh, and shopping with two little ones is a challenge I'm sure...one little one for me is enough to throw me into a mommy tantrum sometimes.
Have a great Monday.

I have never in my life had chicken and dumplings. I feel so deprived! And I think I can still sing all the words to all the songs on Mary Poppins too.

Yea, I can see your comment button again. I was thinking of leaving a message on my blog for you to see. I haven't seen it on your blog for about 2 weeks and I was getting concerned because I couldn't leave a comment. I think maybe it was your background color or something.

I eat chicken and dumplings at all hours of the day and night when I have leftovers. I even a few cold while the others are in the micro heating up. I won't judge you if you don't judge me.. ha ha
