23 days...10 pounds
My diet is going great as you can see in the title. I can't believe so much weight has come off. I hope I can keep it up.
I attended a card club and can't wait to share the cute cards we made. Hopefully I will be back regularly soon. I miss blogging.
As for this weeks American Idol.....David Cook is in a whole other league when compared to the others. He is awesome no matter what he sings. Watching Brooke fall apart is very hard. I like her alot, but it seems she is not going to be able to pick herself up. I was hoping she would. Syesha seems to be fighting to stay in the competition. I still can't stand Jason Castro. My bottom two for this week is Jason Castro and Brooke White. I look forward to what happens.
Happy Wednesday! Hope to blog more soon....

29 days....12.5 pounds
Maybe if I had weighed in this direction when my weight was stuck a few weeks ago it would have went down faster!LOL!
Well, as you can see in the title of this post I behaved myself in Amish Country. Talk about a hard place to stick to your diet! Mashed potatoes, broasted chicken, ham, steak, turkey, gravy, dressing, noodles, desserts...AHHHHHH! I was down 1/2 a pound. YAY!
When I got home our foster son decided to pretend he was glad I was home until he found out I did not bring him home anything. When our 12 year old hugged me, he asked her "Why are you hugging her? She didn't bring us anything." That breaks my heart. I know he has issues, but it still hurts. The next Saturday that has nice weather we are taking them to the zoo. I was going to let them pick something out there.
While we were at the B&B we watched American idol, and I was home in time to watch the results show last night. I felt things were way off and that Brooke and Jason should have been the bottom two. This season seems to be unpredictable. Carly's song choice made me a little uncomfortable. I didn't really like it. Based on performance my top two were Syesha and David Cook.
Happy Thursday!

32 days.....13 pounds
I won't be posting Tuesday or Wednesday. I am going to travel to Amish Country with my Mom. We are going to be staying in a gorgeous Victorian B&B.
I used to be fascinated by the little things you can see in Amish Country like this sign. I now live where there is one within view from my front porch.
Also, the buggy rides have lost their appeal. Hubby gave me a Belgian horse and Amish buggy for Mother's Day 2 years ago. Funny note: Our neighbors thought we were Amish for awhile. LOL!
Have a great Monday - Wednesday and I will see you again on Thursday.

34 days....14 pounds
I think I have mentioned that our 3 year old is a mustard fanatic. Well, she has eaten it on chips, lunchmeat, sandwiches, pickles, pizza, hotdogs, cheese sticks, french fries, bread, and now.............STRAWBERRIES! I know....gross!!!

35 days....14.5 pounds
I wanted to share this sunset photo I took from my front porch. I shot it with my plain old digital camera. It makes me glad that I live on the farm. Country life is definitely the life for me.
Yesterday when we went to the park I thought I would be funny and go down one of the slides headfirst on my stomach. (BTW, we were the only ones there.) My foster son took pics, and then he gets behind me and pushes me on down the slide. I pulled back and pulled the muscles in my neck. Ouch! The kids thought it was hilarious!
Hope everyone has a great weekend. We are going to have our 3 year old's 3rd birthday party. She was sick on her birthday and her party had to be canceled. Now almost 6 weeks later we are finally getting the time to celebrate. At her age you can do that kind of thing.
Happy Friday!

36 days......16 pounds
As for American Idol last night I think it was past time for Kristy to go, but she is such a cute girl. She was a little "cheeky" when she called Simon a "butt." I wish her lots of success and I do hope she can get her horse back.
We are supposed to be getting at least 2 gorgeous spring days. My mood has been heavy lately so I plan to get out in the fresh air. I took a walk last night and it seemed to help. I think we will escape this evening for another evening of ice cream, library, and playground fun!
Hope your Thursday is sunny and warm!

37 days.....16.5 pounds
Ok I am officially taking sides! I want David Cook to win! He is my #1. Also for the first time in all the seasons our whole house is in agreement! We love David Cook!
My bottom three: Kristy Lee Cook, Brooke White, and Jason Castro I really think that tonight Kristy will be leaving. I was really surprised that the contestants were able to do the Mariah songs so well. Simon was right, the boys did outsing the girls. I do think that the girls were easier to compare to Mariah and that put them at a disadvantage.
My weight went down half a pound! I was so glad! Hopefully this is the start of getting away from 192.5! YAY!
Happy Wednesday! Enjoy the results show.

38 days....17 pounds
Do you have something that you love and end up collecting?
BTW.....I am so sick of putting 17 pounds in the titles but the pounds just won't move. Maybe tomorrow...
PS: Hi Kay-Kay! Thanks for checking out my blog. I look forward to your visit this summer.

39 days.....17 pounds
As you could probably guess our 12 year old has complained she is not on my blog. So I wanted to dedicate this entry to her. She is my blessing. I got pregnant with her 6 months into our marriageat 20 years old. She has been with us through hubby's adventures in schooling. She has lived in 8 different homes and towns. She has went to 4 different schools and been homeschooled for 3 years. She is a trooper. For 9 1/2 years she was an only child and then became 1 of 4 in less than 2 years. She gave up her room to make room for our foster son(Her own idea). This put her in a room with 2 cribs! I personally think she is fabulous. I love the time we spend scrapping together. She is my crop and getaway partner in crime. It is a blessing to be able to call her my daughter and best friend.

42 Days.....17 pounds
Yesterday the kids and I had the best evening! We drove to town after school. First stop...McDonalds for vanilla cones! Bet you didn't know they are only 150 calories and 3 grams of fat! We even took one to Hubby and he ate with us in the car. LOL! Paperwork was calling his name so we had to settle for what time he could give us. Second stop...The library to pick up the new Sophie Kinsella! I also got "A New Earth", but I am a little cautious after hearing what others are saying about it. Third stop...a park that we have never visited. Our three year old is Evil Knievel reincarnated. LOL! I believe I got 3 more gray hairs just while watching her climb on the equipment. AH!

43 Days....17 pounds
I was down a pound this morning so only 17 more to go! Yea! The babies went to cheernastics. They were so rotten I couldn't get them to participate with the other kids. Must be the 72 degree gorgeous weather. I was exhausted. I just kept telling myself that I was burning calories. The snowflakes have now disappeared from our 7-day forecast. YAY!
Happy Thursday!

44 Days ....18 pounds
American Idol......I was a little bored last night. My top 3: Micheal Johns, Syesha, and David Cook My bottom 3: Jason Castro (and his little guitar-like instrument too), Brooke White, and Carly Smithson. I think Carly didn't get the memo on what type of song to sing. She looked a little angry. As for who I think will go......I don't know. My guess....Jason Castro.
I have 44 days til I go to my sister's house and 18 pounds left to go. I will be pushing it to lose 18 pounds by then, but I am going to go for it! I think I will use the titles of my entries to keep track of days and pounds. I welcome any cheering or motivational comments from my friends in blog world. I'm gonna need it. LOL!
Happy Wednesday!
PS: Happy Belated Anniversary to my Mom and Dad! 45 years together (4-8-08)

My hubby has complained about my choice of TV shows in the past. I watch mindless shows that most would find "mind numbing." These are my "guilty pleasures." I don't even like to admit I watch them. I am kinda star struck so I enjoy celeb stuff. I think the Soup on E! is hilarious (when it is not dirty). I have to change the channel on it sometimes. I also LOVE the Real Housewives of Orange County on Bravo. I still have not warmed up to the NYC girls, but I watch from time to time. I also caught a few episodes of "I Love New York." YIKES....don't tell anyone. LOL! Do you have any TV shows that are "guilty pleasures"? Come on....admit it.....I won't tell!

My favorite children's store
Back from our trip
Keym had asked about my 50 lbs gone by May 23rd goal. I had read that 8 - 10 pounds per month is a healthy ok amount to go for. I started January 1. I have lost 32 pounds so far. I strive to eat 1200 calories, 25 grams of fat, 64 ounces of water, and exercise 30 minutes daily. I by no means have done all that in any one day, but I have hit a plateau and I am going to have to get my butt in gear. I take a vitamin daily, but ABSOLUTELY no diet pills. I have done this the old fashioned way. I also have a "naughty" meal about every 2 weeks.
I have REALLY missed reading everyone's blogs and keeping up with mine. Feels good to be home.

I loved American Idol!
Hubby and I are getting ready to go on a trip. Just him and me, 3 nights, 4 days....Ahhhhhh! I may actually get the muscles in my back to relax. LOL!
Hope everyone has been having a great week so far. I am back on track with my diet. I had started "grazing." I am doing good now though and I am still on track to lose 50 pounds by the time I go visit my sis in May.
Happy Tuesday!
