We LOVE to make the Christmas holiday last from the day after Turkey Day til the day after Christmas. We have several holly jolly activities/traditions that we will be doing in the next few weeks. The first thing we did was let the kids go pick out their wrapping paper. Each kid picks out one design for their gifts and I buy 2 rolls to ensure I have enough. What did the kid's choose?Cutie Patootie chose Little Pet Shops...Wild Child chose Dora the Explorer...Manga Dork chose a green paper with panda bears hugging a bamboo shoot (she loves that chinese/japanese style). I was surprised with the 2 little ones...I figured Cutie would choose Dora or puppy dogs and Wild Child would choose the Little Pet Shops or SpongeBob. They prove you wrong every time you think you know what you are talking about!

Oh yes, the Christmas spirit is here - I put the tree up last night by myself before dh came home because he kept saying, "No let's wait..." and I just couldn't! :)
Yep! Got my decorations out and started shopping!

I have to admit that I started early. We are in full swing. LOVE THIS HOLIDAY! I like the idea of the kids having their own wrapping paper. M
I caught it when I woke up at 1:45 on Black Friday! But I will take the tree down Christmas night! What is wrong with me?! Keli
I wanted to put our tree up on Sunday, but Hayman said he wasn't ready for the house to be all Christmasy yet.....so I will start decorating this coming weekend. I usually do a lot of baking for gift giving, but with the new job, I'm not sure where I'm going to fit that baking in this year???? Don't even ask me about shopping, cause I haven't even started and I'm never, ever this late with my shopping!! Ack....starting to panic......
Oh what a sweet picture! I love Christmas it is my favorite holiday to decorate and prepare for but not my favorite holiday.

Fun traditions! I'm in the Christmas spirit but my body is not cuz I've got the darn cold flu! Fever, body aches, chills-you know-the works! Hopefully it will end soon so I can get on with the festivities!
Oh yes, oh yes...I do have the Spirit!! But just like Tink, I am SICK!! And I am recoopering from my long visit with my new granddaughter! And I am leaving tomorrow to go to CJ's (the purple diva and my twin) house for the next week!! Calgon take me away!!

I am trying to get caught up and have loved reading all your posts!! I loved Twilight too - just saw it last weekend - so happy new moon is already being planned. Happy late birthday and wow what a party that was!

HOW FUN to let them pick out their own wrapping paper! I did different colors one year for each kid, but I picked it! Fun to let them choose! I don't know if I could do that though! It's gotta match! LOL It's that OCD type A thing I got going on! LOL
