Two days of shopping with my mom! A stay in the Marriott across the street from the town center! At least half of my Christmas shopping done! Can you say HEAVEN! We had a great time and got lots done, but t is always SO hard to part ways and make the drive home. I was SO tired and ate hot tamales to keep myself alert. LOL! My best buy of the trip...3 cricut cartridges @ Walmart for $10 each (regular $59.96)! WOW!We also noticed a huge difference in the amount of shoppers AND the lack of shoppers wearing the delightfully tacky Christmas sweaters/shirts. Either the Christmas spirit was lower than usual or everyone has given into the pressure of the Makeover shows.
Unfortunately like many of you I have lost my battle against getting sick...BRING ON THE ANTIBIOTICS...I surrender!

My wife and daughter would be so jealous of the 10.00 cricut cartridges. A cricut cartridge is what we are giving my daughter for Christmas. The whole thanksgiving weekend she spent scapping on our dining room table.

That sounds so fun! I'd love to stay in a hotel and shop with my Mom for days. Glad you had a great time. I guess if you had to get sick, at least it waited until you got home.
Then again, if you HAD to be sick, sick in a hotel with your Mama to baby you and no kids to deal with sounds like the ideal too!
Well, I am here to tell you to count your blessings... my SIL lost their home... it is a tought year on us too... things are tight! It will be a small Christmas this year! So, enjoy, be happy! Merry Christmas!

That sounds like so much fun. Do you like the Christmas sweaters that they wear? I never could get into that look. I think that was hilarious what you said about makeovers. Loved it.
