My Comfort Object

This was our pretty bed at the Marriott when I went Christmas shopping with Mom. The objects on the bed...the remote...candy...room service menu...AND...my blanket! I packed it in my suitcase and took it with me. I have slept with it since childhood, and I love the feel of it against my face. There are fabrics I recognize from the old clothing of my family. My mom made alot of clothes for herself, me, Lil Sis, and my mama. My favorite square is green with little roosters all over it.
What is your comfort item?

My second dd has a comfort blanket :) She calls it her "horsey cover" and does not go to bed without it. :) It is a quilt my grandma made for my oldest when she was born, but of course got passed on to Cassie :) I really cannot remember when she started keeping it by her side, but I think it was about age 2 or so :)

that's awesome! what a wonderful family heirloom! hopefully you don't wear it out and you can pass it on to manga dork someday! heehee!

my comfort items would just be my king size bed w/the memory foam topper, all my pillows to make my little "nest", jersey knit sheets and the remote. can't very well take all that with me, so i don't stay overnight anywhere too often! ;)

Mine is my Bookwedge and whatever novel I'm lost in at the moment...lol! It makes my hubby insane to have the light on in the bedroom while I'm reading. But since I got it, he never complains. Plus it really helps my old tired eyes...I tell ya it's hell getting older! My optometrist said to me 2 weeks ago that I needed one bifocal. I was like..."what...just stab me in the chest why don't ya Doc"! He started to laugh and said "your not getting any younger "...WHAT!!!! I think I'm going to find a new Optometrist...lol! Maybe I can find a hot one who will lie to me....heehee!

I have a favorite blanket that I curl up on the couch with. Don't you just LOVE the sheets at Marriotts? They are so comfy!
