Remember my post about a week or so ago about Thomas the barn cat?
He is the cat I was trying to make happy with the big red bow and...
the cat that loves to be carried like this by Wild Child. Turns out "he" is Thomasina...maybe that is why she was so grumpy!Well...this afternoon I heard a scream from the front porch. I ran to the door to find Sebastian the Yellow Lab (my inlaw's dog) with his head in the cat carrier. The 2 little ones were screaming. I jumped out the door...put the 2 little ones off the porch and tried to beat Sebastian off the cage. He grabbed poor Thomas(ina) and I grabbed the 2 little ones and put them in the house so they could not see what was happening. I hit Sebastian as hard as I could with my hands, but I could not do anything to save her. I heard little bones crushing. Then I realized that I was only wearing my bra and panties! Yikes!
I had to go inside to tell my little ones that their best friend Thomas(ina) was dead. We cried together on my bed. Then Manga Dork and I had a good laugh about me running around the front yard in my undies hitting Sebastian...leave it to me to add humor to a very bad situation.

I'm so sorry about your little kitty. What a big mean dog to do that to poor Thomasina! And what a great mom you are to come running to save the day in only your bra and undies!! He,he........

I'm so sorry about your cat! It sounds like you were able to make the best of a bad situation.
Oh I am so sorry!! What a terrible thing to have happen. And I can only imagine how you feel about your in-law's dog now. So sad. Your poor kiddos.
Oh dear- that's so traumatic! What a stupid dog! While would never do it (or advocate it), I WOULD be fantacising about poison steak.
That is awful Scrappy. I will miss him and his grump.
I am really sorry about all of the trauma surrounding it. But the bra and panties made it more "bare"able to read.
Oh I am so sorry about your loss.I hope your little ones are okay.
I do love that last comment though. Too funny about being out front in your bra and undies. That would have been something I would have done.

oh no, that is just aweful. I am so sorry to hear it all.
ok, not a huge pet lover but that is sad. It made me say "Awww" out loud while reading... but... hard to stop laughing about the thought of running outside in bra and undies! Oh my, did the neighbors see you... wait til next week when the old man down the street tells you that he happened to be taking a walk at that exact time... haha.

Aww, I am so sorry. But I love that you were running around outside in your bra and panties.
OMGoodness....I am So sad right now...I'm gonna go hug and snuggle our two kitties....I don't understand..how did the dog do that? ...maybe I don't wanna know!

aaawwww!!! geez i can't imagine witnessing that! that had to be hard! poor kitty.
hope the little ones are ok now, but the undies & bra thing is hilarious!
