After some intense in-laws drama; Manga Dork, 15 year old cousin, and I hopped in the Escalade and drove into town. It was just like old times when Manga Dork was an only child (For 9 1/2 years) and the cousin would come to visit. With 3 more kids and lil cousin it is harder now. We were excited!
Our first stop was for chinese food! Hallelujah! Chinese food is our tub of ice cream. We have it whenever most people would be crying in their Rocky Road or Chunky Monkey. You know like losing a pet, breaking up with a boyfriend, hangnail.....etc.
Then it was off to 3 pet stores to ooh and aah over all the sweet puppies. I am just crazy over the Brussel Griffons. They have that Cabbage Patch Kid thing going on...so ugly they are cute! I want one...
Then we discovered they had put in a Sonic! YAY! Watermelon slushies! Plus between 2 and 4 it is happy hour and drinks are half price! Cool! Things were just going SO well. Until....
I pulled up to the Scrapbook store and this was what one of the signs on the door said...AHHHH! The other sign (Which poored salt into my already open wounds) said "We now have over 1100 12x12 papers." AHHHHH! I was truly downhearted...To Be Continued...

Sounds fun until the let downs. I don't know about you, but when you have your mind on something and you can't have it because it is closed. I am hugely bummed. WE just got back from Sonic for the 2-4 thing. Funny.
