Where Were You?

I sometimes go back in time on my blog archive just to peek at what we were up to this time last year. I have been bored...shhh! Don't tell my mom I said "bored"...she'll find something for me to do! Did your mom do that? Do you do that to your kids? My mom STILL does it if I tell her over the phone...she just starts naming things...argh!

Well here is what I was up to June 30, 2008...

It was two weeks before we were leaving for NYC and I tried to move the plastic Dora stool with my toe and fell...and cut around the base of half mybig toe. Ouch! That hurt so bad. Dr. Hubby glued it well and I was fine walking in NYC! He was my hero! The scar feels really weird.

BTW...can you believe June is already gone! Wow! Don't blink...July will pass us by!

You and your toes... FuN-ny! I remember hearing about all the times you hurt it last year. This year I hope you wear shoes *giggle*.

Of course my mom did the same thing and I did it to my boys. It's not a mom's job to entertain but to find work for their children.. mwhahahahahaha!
(I had to do that because I loved it from your last blog's comments).. The mom evil laugh... Love it!

My mum and dad are definately like that too. Responses to, "I am bored" were "Pleased to meet you, I'm John" and "Only boring people get bored".

Hope the foot has healed well.

SG, after catching up on your blog, I must say I am terribly sorry for all you are going through with the camping thing. I applaud you and DH for standing your ground. No way in HECK would I let me 13 year old DD go with someone I may not trust to make good decisions and with 16 year old boys!

I remember when you did that to your foot, lol! Not that it was funny then, sorry.

Racing worms......EEEWWWWWW!!! At least the girls had fun!

Cool score with the DVD! I am sure you will let us know if it is good or not, lol!

I have tried to call a few times, but maybe you weren't in a service area?! Maybe you could call me when you have a few moments. I miss you Dear Friend, and I worry about you! Hope you have a good rest of the day!
