Which Way Should We Go?

Dr. Hubby wants me to plan a trip for us to take before winter kicks in...

He is open to flying/driving and with/without kids...hmmmm...

Where do you think we should go in the USA?

(We are talking a LONG weekend...at most Thursday night to Monday night)

You can't beat New England in the fall - I'm not sure where exactly your coming from, but Boston, Salem, The White Mountains, Maine, Pennsylvania (Hershey Park, Amish Country)...

New England or up there somewhere. That is where I would love to go. We were at Lake Tahoe last year about this time. It was lovely too. Just have fun.

Hey, I have a better idea! Go on a cruise! this is the perfect time, they are deeply discounted!

Go to Branson Missouri with the kids. Lots of fun stuff, like shows and dinner theater! I want to go here.

I second the cruise. They have great deals from Carnival out of Mobile, AL. It is not what you might think. We had a great time last year. Either with the kids or not, you will still have a great time. We took our children with us and they spent a lot of their time in Camp Carnival which at first I was not a fan of but then I saw how "protected" the girls were. Wherever you go, you will still have a great time. Any vacation is great. You can also try Helen, GA. It is a great place to visit. It is about 2 hours N of Atlanta and it mirrors New England towns ok actually a German town from WWII era. Great place and it won't be as cold or cool as New England will be. You will have to let us know where you decide to go.

I say a bed and breakfast somewhere deep in the middle of all the changing leaves. OH SO BEAUTIFUL.

I would leave the kids if you can stand to be away from them and you have someone trust worthy to leave them with. Love your honey! He is so sweet. m

I like the B&B idea ... that would be so fab!! I don't have any good tips as we haven't traveled in the US besides to see my family. Sounds like fun!

Out west, to the Oregon Coast! It is whale migration season, and it is a gorgous coast this time of year!! You could fly to Portland, rent a car and drive to the coast, but stop by to see me on the way, LOL!!!

I have an even better idea. Why not visit the lush countryside of Forks, Washington???
