For months Jon Gosselin has prayed for someone to come along and do something so revolting that it would take some of the attention from him...someone stupid enough to earn the title "Biggest Douchebag On The Planet." Last night Jon got his wish...
Enter Kanye West...
Last night at the VMAs while Taylor Swift (19) was accepting her Best Female Video award Kanye jumps onto stage...takes the microphone from her and says, "Hey Taylor, I'm really happy for you, but beyonce had one of the best videos of all time." Sweet Taylor looked humiliated and was escorted off stage and the show stumbled and began showing the next clip. The rest of the night the crowd BOOed Kanye and chanted "Taylor."
At the end of the show Beyonce won Best Video of the Year. Her inner beauty showed brightly when she thanked them for the award and said she remembered receiving her first VMA at 17...then invited Taylor to the stage to finish her thank yous. How nice...
Kanye...the sound you heard when Beyonce gracefully handed her microphone to Taylor... was the last nail going in your coffin...
BTW...I nearly soiled the couch watching the New Moon clip. I am ready for November 20th!

Normally I don't watch the any of the VMA's - but wanted to watch it to see the New Moon Clip. I actually saw this and my mouth dropped open - how rude! I didn't see Beyonce do the right thing. I did see her in the audience cringing at what was happening (shaking head). I loved "Pink's" song as she did acrobatics - that was fun.
Loved the New Moon trailer. I can't wait either.
BTW.... Poor John... or not... This whole thing is really sad. I wish he would have sought out counseling with Kate and tried to work on the marriage. One day he will be sad with his decision to walk away.
OH... and I was sad I didn't make your top comment list :-(... I've kind of been out of my blogging addiction for a couple of weeks. I don't know why -- I'm just not feeling it or feeling weird or something. I am hoping to get out of my "Funk" this week and get with it. Have a happy day.

I don't think Beyonce should be judged. She was an innocent bystander and did try to undo some of the damage by acknowledging Taylor and inviting her onstage.
What a disaster. Kanye, that is.
I'm glad Beyonce handled it the way she did. Can't wait to see the New Moon clip.

I am SOOOOO OVER Jon Gosselin! I mean, all he preached about was "all I care about is my kids" over and over and over. Well, excuse me, but unless your kids are in a bar hanging out with drunk 21 yr old hoochies, or on the Ed Hardy guy's yacht, or on a ski slope in Colorado, or in NYC where you recently bought a new apartment, then NO, you don't care about your kids, you care about YOURSELF!!!! (And pardon me if I've commented with this rant before... I know I have on someone's blog. He just annoys me THAT MUCH that I have to repeatedly say this!)
And Kanye? UGH. He is a racist. End of story. Between him and Russell Brand, the VMA's were almost too uncomfortable to watch. The only thing that kept me watching was the New Moon trailer! SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It looks AWESOME!!!!!!!!! I have already taken Friday Nov 20 off work! LOL!

I could not belive that stupid Kayne! It was tacky, and just showed everyone what an ASS he is. A VMA for everyone to remember. The best memory of all was having Beyonce invite Taylor to the stage. How graceous is that? Just loved it. Thanks for sharing today sweetie. I cannot wait for November 20th. I have read all of the books now, I just want to see the next movie. Counting down. I didn't get a chance to watch the VMA's, but several of my facebook friends posted video clips of the whole Kanye fiasco, and yes, he is quite the douche bag!!! What a jerk! And his music totally sucks, too. Thanks for giving him the douchebag award! :-D
GREAT post! You hit the nail on the head with this one. Kanye can drop dead for all I care. And could Beyonce be any more gracious and sincere. She truly is a wonderful person. Poor Taylor, she got blind sided. She'll recover and hopefully people saw the wonderful/right way to handle this situation. (I heard Pink wanted to rip his head off and had to be restrained by security. They should have let her at him. He'd be lookin' pretty sad today if she'd gotten a hold of him. Bummer)
